Operation 6: A Pathway Out of Homelessness for Veterans
No veteran should have to navigate homelessness alone. Yet for many, barriers like strict program requirements, lack of resources, or past challenges keep them from accessing the help they need.
JAVC’s Operation 6 changes that.
This 90-day, low-demand Safe Haven program provides immediate shelter and support—without preconditions. We meet veterans where they are, offering a safe, stable environment grounded in dignity, respect, and compassion.
Your support makes this possible.
Through Operation 6, veterans receive:
- Safe, stable housing
- Daily meals, hygiene supplies, and clothing
- Case management and peer support
- A harm-reduction approach that honors individual choice
- Personalized pathways to permanent housing and independence
The Impact of Your Giving:
- Since March 2024, we’ve helped 30 veterans move off the streets and toward stability
- We’ve built strong partnerships with over 50 local organizations, expanding access to care and opportunity
- Veterans leaving the program receive essential household items and, in some cases, job opportunities—helping them start fresh with confidence
Behind these services is a dedicated, highly trained team of counselors, recovery specialists, and therapists—ensuring every veteran receives the support they deserve.
But the need continues to grow.
With your help, we can reach more veterans, provide more beds, and create more second chances.
Your donation does more than fund a program—it restores dignity, rebuilds lives, and gives veterans a real path forward.
Give today. Help a veteran come home.
