Community Support for Eden Village of Arizona

When we made the decision in the first week of September to have our groundbreaking ceremony on Friday November 21st, we had no way of knowing what the weather would be like. God knew what was in store for that day. All we had to go on was a hope that the forecast would hold true and the weather would be nice. As the date came closer so did the bad weather. It rained Tuesday and Wednesday and it poured on Thursday just days before the celebration. As doubt started to creep into our thoughts, we held onto to fact that Eden Village is God’s project and no matter what the weather God was in control. What a day it turned out to be. We could not have asked for a more perfect groundbreaking of God’s project, Eden Village. There were warm homemade cinnamon rolls, and breakfast burritos to start off the celebration. The band, Vinyl Update, entertained the crowd while the excitement was growing. One hundred and sixty people came out to celebrate. It was finally time to break the ground as the roar of the tiny excavator began to dig, making the ceremony official. Three more people sponsored homes at the event leaving only 5 out of the 21 homes left to sponsor. There are many more items left to sponsor for people and businesses that want to be a part of this amazing project. The community store, the dog park, the community garden, the club house kitchen, the offices and the patio are available just to name a few. Benches, picnic tables, pavers and garden plots are also available to sponsor.
