Antoinette's Story: I am 36 and I have five beautiful children. Growing up I moved around a lot and was tossed between my parents a few times a year. When I was six, I was sexually abused by a family member. By the age of 13, I was using drugs on a regular basis. By the time I was 21, I had three kids and was a full blown meth addict. Lost, broken, alone and spiritually dead, I came to Teen Challenge of Arizona's Home of Hope. God has healed me tremendously since I have been here, and I am now sober. I have a conscience now, and I am learning to manage my emotions instead of numbing them. My whole way of thinking has changed, how I perceive not only myself but life in general is much better. God has restored my family, my freedom and my purity. Right before I came to the Home of Hope, my husband filed for divorce, but since I've been here he has dismissed it, and the CPS case that was against me is about to be closed! God has definitely restored my self-worth; He gave me a new name, "Worthy", and I can honestly tell you today, I BELIEVE IT!

Eric's Story: "I would not be here today if it wasn't for Teen Challenge." Eric was just 15 years old when he started using marijuana and cocaine. Trapped at such a young age by his drug use, eventually Eric began using meth and various other drugs. It's no surprise that a life of crime and desperation followed. Feeling worried and afraid for Eric's well-being, his family put him in the hospital. "I had completely lost my mind", says Eric. So much of his life had been a battle with addiction that his body and mind were ready to give up. As soon as he left the hospital, Eric came to Teen Challenge of Arizona. It took a lot of hard work and determination for Eric to move forward. Through counseling, faith-based curriculum and consistent mentoring, Eric's heart and mind began to transform. Today, Eric is happily married with two beautiful children. The journey he experienced at Teen Challenge has prepared him for the future.
