AZ Gives Day 2026

Eight-year-old Kali, a bright and curious Navajo girl, smiles broadly each time she enters Tynkertopia’s doors. Right beside her is seven-year-old Miguel, an imaginative boy of Hispanic heritage who can’t wait to dive into the day’s new discoveries. Twice a week, they race in with excited chatter, ready to explore everything from coding, building robots or baking fresh treats in out kitchen.

At Tynkertopia, both children find a nurturing environment that ignites their passions. Kali loves tending the community garden, carefully planting seeds and marveling at how each sprout becomes a living creation. Meanwhile, Miguel adores building entire worlds with Lego Robotics, reveling in the triumph of making his inventions move and respond. In between sessions, they settle down for arts and crafts classes, where they paint vibrant pictures celebrating their cultures and communities.

In this warm, family-oriented space, Kali and Miguel never go hungry—Tynkertopia provides free meals to them and every child who visits. These nourishing meals fuel their creativity, ensuring that when it’s time to learn and explore, they can focus entirely on growing their skills and expanding their imaginations.
