Arcosanti is a project of The Cosanti Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our mission is to inspire a reimagined urbanism that builds resilient and equitable communities sustainably integrated with the natural world. Your generosity makes our world a better place, and makes our work possible at Arcosanti, Cosanti, and across the world.

Since 1965, our efforts to demonstrate a different way of living and building that brings people closer to nature, closer to each other, and closer to responsible stewardship of our planet’s resources have inspired millions, including the 50,000 visitors we see each year and the 8000 alumni of our 5- and 6-week hands-on workshop programs.

Preservation and expansion of our iconic architecture, conservation of valuable materials in our archives, and our scholarly exploration of arcology (architecture + ecology) through publications and public events are among the cornerstones of our work at both Arcosanti and Cosanti, a designated historic site on Arizona’s state registry.
