Support Verde Valley Humane Society for Arizona Gives Day 2026
Since 2013, Arizona Gives Day has raised more than $47 million for over 2,000 nonprofits across the state, helping organizations continue their vital work in local communities. Last year alone, millions of dollars were raised to support Arizona charities. This year, you have the opportunity to be part of that generosity and make a real difference for animals in need.
The 2026 giving period begins March 17 and continues through April 7, giving supporters time to make an impact before the big day.
At Verde Valley Humane Society, we work every day to provide shelter, safety, and compassion to animals who have nowhere else to go. Your support helps ensure they receive critical medical care, nutritious food, and a safe place to heal while they wait for their forever homes.
By contract with Yavapai County, Verde Valley Humane Society serves an extraordinarily large and diverse region—covering more than 7,900 square miles and supporting over 121,000 residents across unincorporated communities and towns such as Cottonwood, Clarkdale, Village of Oak Creek, and Dewey-Humboldt. This vast service area represents nearly half the county’s population, making our role essential in ensuring animals across rural and underserved areas receive the care and protection they deserve.
Looking ahead, we are also planning for an important building expansion in the coming year. This project will allow us to care for more animals, improve their living conditions, and better serve the growing needs of our community. Your Arizona Gives Day gift will help us move closer to that goal while continuing to meet the daily needs of the animals currently in our care.
Every contribution—large or small—makes a meaningful difference.
Please consider making a donation between March 17 and April 7 in support of Verde Valley Humane Society and the animals who depend on us. With your help, we can continue to provide care, hope, and second chances.
Thank you for standing with us and supporting the animals of the Verde Valley. 🐾
