Sunrise Mountain High School Imprints of Honor

We are a small but dedicated group of students whose mission it is to connect with our local veteran population and preserve their legacies! These students work tirelessly through the the year to learn the history and stories behind each vet they interact with, as well as extend their reach at numerous school events after hours to broaden our impact. Our humble chapter has only been around for three years, but in that short time they have been recognized as a stand-out chapter with high praise from Imprints of Honor staff and volunteers. The SMHS Chapter Advisor, English teacher and USMC vet Mr. Salch, is proud to be the 2025 Teacher of the Year. This group plans to utilize all funds to put right back into book publishing costs and education. We plan to continue our civic engagement next year by visiting museums around our state and possibly returning to the USS Midway again! We are proud to serve our community and our veterans!
