AzDEO "Back to School Learning Something New!"

Believe it or not, AzDEO is entering our 50th Year of Operations, and we are looking to level up in a BIG way! Each year, we support hundreds of teachers and their thousands of students, and we do this by focusing on our mission - promote, advance, and advocate for dance education across the state of Arizona. 

AzDEO produces:

1) The Arizona All-State Dance Festival, where students take master classes and showcase their original choreography

2) The Annual Teacher Retreat, where teachers come to learn together and prepare for a new year

3) Two statewide student competitions

4) Five teacher scholarship and award programs, including the Katherine Lindholm Lane Arizona Dance Educator of the Year Award

5) The Arizona All-State Ensemble, featuring the best high school dancers from across the state. 

AzDEO does all this with a 100% Volunteer Board of Directors!
