The mission of Sonoran Glass is to provide educational, vocational, and creative experiences through the medium of glass. With community driven, accessible programs, we create ties across art, science and history.

Our vibrant glass organization is the Southwest destination dedicated to advancing the craft of glass making.

We honor the tradition, science, and technical mastery of our craft while creating a safe, inclusive and accessible environment for physical and creative exploration at all skill levels.

We have served Tucson and the region for 25 years. We're pretty sure that the coolers over our main building are at least that old!  With your help we aim to replace them in our 2026-2027 fiscal year. These units are mounted to the roof over our glass blowing and flameworking studio areas. This space gets hotter than any other and our coolers have struggled this past year to keep up with high temperatures in Tucson as well as the heat created in the space when we blow glass. Our inside thermometer often registers 90+ degrees! For the comfort and safety of the public we serve as well as the staff who are here daily, we ask for your help to raise $20,000 which will cover the cost and installation of new units quoted to us by a local Tucson contractor.
