Every week from September through June, something special happens at Agape Acres.

Children who struggle to communicate find their voice.
Individuals facing physical and developmental challenges discover strength and confidence.
Connections are formed—not just with people, but with the gentle, intuitive horses who make it all possible.

But when the Arizona summer arrives, everything changes.

As temperatures climb, our arena becomes unsafe for both participants and the dedicated volunteers who make our programs possible. Without shade over our grooming and tacking areas, the heat becomes simply too intense. For the safety of our community, we are forced to pause our programs during June, July, and August.

The arena may go quiet—but the horses still need us.

Our therapy horses, who work so faithfully throughout the year, still require daily care, nutrition, and attention. They don’t get a summer break from needing hay, feed, and love. These incredible animals are the heart of everything we do, and it is our responsibility to care for them—especially when they are not actively serving in lessons.

This is where you come in.

This Arizona Gives Day, we are raising funds to ensure our herd remains healthy, nourished, and ready to return to work when our programs resume in September. Your support will directly provide hay and feed for the horses who give so much to our riders and families.
