2026 is A Year of Growth and New Beginnings for Sol Dog Lodge

And

2025 Marked a Historic Milestone

  • Our Marana Campus opened in February of 2025 as our vision became reality.
  • With support of our community and donors, we built a new home and a state-of-the-art dog care campus.
  • At Sol Dog Lodge, our guest pups receive the highest quality care and their families find support.
  • Our community finds the help they need which helps us achieve our mission-- keeping families and dogs together.

2025 At A Glance: The Impact of Support

Our growth this year was fueled by the belief in our mission and our Board of Directors’ passion for and commitment to Sol Dog Lodge and Training Center.

Our expanded team and reach ensured that more families didn’t face crises alone.

Campus Expansion: We opened our new Marana Campus in February 2025 and now operate 7 days a week.

The Dream Team: Growing our incredible staff:

  • Three groomers
  • Two dog trainers
  • 12 dog care specialists
  • Four dog concierges
  • A volunteer and program coordinator
  • A kennel operations director, and
  • An operations manager

At Sol Dog Lodge, we measure success not in numbers alone, but in the lives of families and dogs we help strengthen, support, and keep together.

Strengthening Families and Dogs

Through behavioral consultations and individualized training, we helped hundreds of families overcome challenges and keep their dogs in loving homes, preventing surrender to already overcrowded shelters.

Expanding Compassionate Care

Our move to Marana increased boarding capacity from 10 to 65 kennels, allowing us to serve more families, including those needing critical respite and temporary care during times of crisis.

Our Hearts at Ease/Safety Net programs continue to grow as a vital safety net service for individuals and families facing life’s most difficult moments.

From emergency and temporary care services for a family's beloved best friend to community education programs such as Pet CPR classes and Puppy Yoga, everything we do is designed to protect and celebrate the human-canine bond while we keep dogs with the people who love them.

Your support has helped Sol Dog Lodge accomplish so much in 2025.

These aren't just statistics; they are stories of impact.

  • Dogs Boarded - 8,000 +
  • Dogs Groomed - 1,289
  • Dogs Trained - 909
