Arizona Gives Day - Humanity 360 - 2026

When students learn to lead with compassion, everything changes.

At Humanity 360, we believe the most urgent thing we can teach a young person right now isn't a test score — it's how to connect, how to find purpose, and how to serve something larger than themselves. In a world being reshaped by artificial intelligence and political uncertainty, these are not soft skills. They are survival skills.

We have seen it happen. A middle schooler who never spoke up in class finds her voice through a unit on food justice. A high school student volunteers at a local nonprofit for the first time and discovers what he wants to do with his life. A teenager who felt invisible begins to feel like he belongs — not just to a school, but to a community. This is what Humanity 360 does. And this year, we are ready to do it at scale.

Humanity 360 has been officially approved by Tucson Unified School District, and we are expanding into ten TUSD schools over the next twelve months — reaching hundreds of students across Tucson with our immersive, compassion-based curriculum. Co-facilitated by classroom teachers and University of Arizona student interns, each ten-week program guides students through real-world issues, guided reflection, and student-led service. It is grounded in what Surgeon General Vivek Murthy calls the Triad of Fulfillment: relationships, purpose, and service — the three things proven to combat the loneliness epidemic devastating this generation.

Our Arizona Gives Day goal is $7,500.

Every dollar raised goes directly to:

• 🎓Teacher stipends— compensating TUSD educators for their time and commitment
• 🤝Intern stipends— paying University of Arizona students who co-facilitate sessions and mentor participants
• 📚Curriculum materials— workbooks, media resources, and supplies for every school
• 🚗Program coordination— the logistics that keep ten schools running smoothly and on schedule

This is a pivotal moment for Humanity 360. We have earned the trust of the district. We have built the curriculum. We have the schools, the teachers, and the interns ready to go. What we need now is the funding to deliver on the promise we've made to hundreds of Tucson students.
