Coalición de Derechos Humanos has emerged as a leading force in Tucson, organizing a community-wide resistance against the hate and harassment directed at hardworking immigrant communities and families by the current federal administration.

We’ve established 10 large defense committees—each with its own subcommittees—composed of dedicated community members committed to providing essential support, including:

• A hotline for immigrants facing arrest by local law enforcement or federal immigration agents.

• Community assemblies providing information and resources for immigrant families.

• Know Your Rights workshops to educate immigrants on their legal protections.

• Printed and digital guides offering legal resources for immigrants.
  

• Social media campaigns and traditional media outreach to raise public awareness and inform immigrants of their rights.

• Documentation and reporting of human rights violations.

• Emotional support and self-care resources.

• Collaborative efforts with other human rights organizations, schools, churches, legal associations, and community networks to strengthen and expand our services.
