Flowing Wells Automotive Students Education Internship Program

Cuts to federal funding have eliminated options to fund Summer internships for FW high school students who train in our Award Winning Flowing Wells Auto Program where students spend 4 years training.

FWNACC is 100% Volunteer Organization.

The Flowing Wells Neighborhood Association and Community Coalition (FWNACC) in partnership with the Flowing Wells School District is working directly with INDEPENDENT AUTO SHOPS in Flowing Wells Area to provide $500 to $750 small startup cost (uniform, special/additional tools) money for auto shops to pay an intern all Summer 2026!  The shops will pay them their wages for the 10-40 hour, 10 week internship.

2015 FWHS Grad, Dallas Zamarano who founded Z-Tech Automotive at La Cholla and Curtis is passionate about providing internship opportunities for students and approached FWHS and FWNACC to restart interships in the Flowing Wells Area.

FWHS Auto Teacher, Jessie Brenton, and CTE Coordinator Jerry Peterson assembled on February 19th 7 Independent shops who have indicated they want hire FW Auto Interns!!  This startup money is to help them with startup costs and show community support!!
