Mission Statement: Our mission is to encourage, educate, empower, and elevate others through humble service.
Our Purpose: We reach our mission by working as an advocacy organization that takes action to drive social, organizational, and community change by providing resources, information, education, and other services that will foster personal growth and social responsibility in the community.
Vision Statement: We envision where the gap between abundance and need is closed, and where every resident has access to basic necessities without barriers or judgment.
Organization History: We believe that every person deserves dignity, care, and the opportunity to thrive. Guided by faith and fueled by collaboration. At A Servant’s Hands, we are dedicated to serving with compassion, integrity, and purpose. Our commitment is to walk alongside individuals and families in our community, meeting basic needs, offering support, and creating pathways to hope and stability.
Program 1: Faithful Footsteps Outreach
Focus: Unhoused & Transient Populations.
Description: A bi-weekly, volunteer-led street outreach team that targets high-need areas (specifically the 27th Ave & Van Buren corridor). Unlike traditional stationary food banks, we utilize a "Park & Walk" model to bring hygiene kits, Narcan, water, and nutrient-dense food directly to individuals in encampments and on sidewalks.
Key Metric: distributing 100 units of Narcan each month
Program 2: Boxes of HOPE pantry
Focus: Low-Income Families & Food Insecurity.
Description (1): We at A Servant's Hands offer on the first Saturday of every month to drive to a designated location and pick up boxes for residents of Maricopa. The box cost us $15 each. We ask for a minimum donation of $20 to help cover fuel costs of getting the boxes back to Maricopa. Any donation over that will help us keep our food pantry going.
Description (2): A "Market-Style" pop-up pantry that restores dignity to the food banking experience. Instead of receiving pre-packed boxes of unwanted items, families "shop" for the specific groceries they need (produce, dairy, diapers) at no cost. This reduces food waste and empowers heads of households.
Description (3): We also have the individually packed boxes (packed specifically for each family) that we pack and deliver to the home-bound or people in need that do not have access to a local food pantry. Towns in Maricopa and Pinal Counties that don’t have grocery stores or a food pantry to access.
Key Metric: distributing more than 2000 pounds of food each month
Program 3: HOPE Victim Advocacy & Navigation
Focus: Victims of Domestic Violence & Systemic Trauma.
Description: We provide safe, neutral support for individuals fleeing violence. Volunteers assist with navigating complex application systems (SNAP, housing vouchers, protection orders) in a supportive, trauma-informed environment, bridging the gap between crisis and stability. We have a certified application assistant for the Arizona Address Confidentiality Program.
Key Metric: 3-5 people each month
Our country is facing a dual crisis of rising housing costs and extreme environmental heat. With homelessness rising and eviction rates climbing, many families are one paycheck away from the street. Traditional services often require transportation or documentation that our clients lack. A Servant’s Hands solves the "Last Mile" problem—we deliver resources into the hands of those who cannot access traditional brick-and-mortar agencies, operating during critical weekend hours when other agencies are closed.
