As some of you know, I work at the ACLU of Arizona as a Philanthropy Associate — and honestly, it’s one of the most meaningful jobs I’ve ever done.
I grew up in Douglas. I know what life looks like on the border. I know what it feels like when your community is targeted, when families are separated, when people are treated like they don’t matter. That’s something very personal to me.
The ACLU of AZ fights every single day to change that — defending immigrants’ rights, challenging unconstitutional border policies, protecting our freedom of speech and voting rights, and so much more. Right here in Arizona, in our border towns, and in our communities.
This AZ Gives Day (April 7th), I’m personally asking you to donate — even just a little. I don’t ask for much, but this one is close to my heart. 🥹
