The Arb is for Everyone - Help Keep It That Way

The Arboretum at Flagstaff is more than 200 acres of native plants, Ponderosa trees, and wildlife that call this open space home. It's a living laboratory for conservation that belongs to all of us.

But The Arb is so much more than a garden.

It's where kids fall in love with science on a summer morning. Where neighbors gather under the stars to hear live music. Where artists find inspiration among the flowers. Where families learn to protect their homes — and their community — from wildfire.

The Arb is for everyone. And this Arizona Gives Day, we need your help to keep it that way. Our goal: $5,000 by the end of Arizona Gives Day.

What Your Gift Makes Possible

• Conservation. The Arboretum's core mission is conservation and your donation supports the research and care needed to keep irreplaceable native plants thriving for generations to come.
• Art and Music. Local artists display their works in our gift shop and weave their creativity throughout the Arb's grounds. Meanwhile, four times a year, The Arb transforms into an open-air concert venue where our community grooves to local musicians while the San Francisco Peaks glow in the setting sun.
• Education for Every Age. From school field trips to our wildly popular raptor talks, The Arb is where curiosity grows. Young and old connect with the natural world in hands-on, meaningful ways — building knowledge and love for the Colorado Plateau that lasts a lifetime.
• Gardens for Our Future. From native plants to vegetables, our grounds help you learn how to grow plants successfully in the high desert. This year, The Arb is creating a new firewise demonstration garden near the Caretaker's Cottage that will show families how to plant beautifully while protecting their homes from the danger of wildfires.

The Arb has always been a place where everyone belongs — the plant lover, the curious kid, the music fan, the artist, the neighbor worried about fire season. It belongs to Flagstaff, and it belongs to you.
