Rescued Animal Medical Fund

We provide a safe and structured environment where animals can recover physically and emotionally. Upon intake, each animal receives a comprehensive health evaluation, including a veterinary assessment, nutritional review, and behavioral observation. Individualized care plans are developed to address immediate medical concerns, dietary requirements, and long-term wellness goals. Many of the animals we receive require treatment for malnutrition, parasite infestations, hoof neglect, dental issues, or untreated injuries. Our program prioritizes stabilization, rehabilitation, and preventative care to restore and maintain health.

A core component of our program is preventative veterinary care. All animals receive annual wellness examinations, vaccinations as recommended by veterinary professionals, parasite control, and routine hoof and dental maintenance when applicable. Early intervention is essential in farm animal rescue; regular health monitoring allows us to detect and treat conditions before they become severe or life-threatening. This proactive model improves overall quality of life while reducing emergency medical interventions.

Nutrition is another foundational element of our program. We provide species-appropriate diets that include hay, breed-specific or condition-specific grain when necessary, mineral supplementation, and access to clean water every day. Feed plans are adjusted based on age, health status, and seasonal conditions. Rising feed costs present a significant challenge, but proper nutrition remains one of the most critical components of rehabilitation and ongoing health maintenance.
