Saving At Risk Animals

A nonprofit organization

Founded in the summer of 2012, Saving At Risk Animals is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization located in Tucson, Arizona that works closely with Pima Animal Care Center to save sick, injured, or orphaned cats and kittens at risk of euthanasia.

Our cats are placed solely in foster homes - we have no central shelter - so all of our rescues get one-on-one medical care and socialization. Because our cats are in foster homes, we get to know their personalities well, so if you're looking for a specific type of cat (lap cat, independent, etc.) let us know and we'll find you a match!

Adoption process includes an application and conversation, meet and greet and a home visit. Criteria will vary based on the specific needs and personalities of the individual cats. Adoption fee of $130 (kittens) / $99 (adults) covers spay/neuter, microchip, testing for feline leukemia/FIV, vaccinations (rabies and FVRCP), adoption care packet, and follow-up support.
