The Foundation for the Conservation of Arizona’s Wildlife was created in 1990 to enhance the management, protection and enjoyment of Arizona’s fish and wildlife resources. Today, the organization does business under the name Wildlife for Tomorrow (WFT). WFT is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that works closely with the Arizona Game and Fish Department to provide additional support for projects and education activities where traditional resources are not adequate. WFT’s efforts focus entirely on worthy projects within Arizona and no funds are passed on to national offices or to projects in other parts of the country. WFT does not participate in or attempt to influence regulatory, management or legislative decisions, nor does it take a position on controversial or value-sensitive issues. Its single purpose is to support important and worthy projects that make a difference to the wildlife and people of Arizona.

Wildlife for Tomorrow is dedicated to accelerating the Arizona Game and Fish Department's mission to conserve and protect Arizona's diverse wildlife, while promoting safe and ethical outdoor recreation. Operating without state general fund support, the Arizona Game and Fish Department relies heavily on hunting and fishing licenses, making Wildlife for Tomorrow an essential partner in funding crucial projects that go beyond their self-funding capabilities.

Why Your Support Matters

The future of Arizona's wildlife hinges on effective conservation efforts and education. Wildlife for Tomorrow seeks to raise funds for priority projects that focus on:

  • Outdoor Heritage: Engaging individuals with nature through recreational programming and improved land access, encouraging everyone to explore and enjoy Arizona’s stunning landscapes.

  • Wildlife Education: Offering educational experiences that illuminate the unique species that call Arizona home, fostering a deeper appreciation for the natural world.

  • Wildlife Conservation: Actively working to conserve Arizona’s diverse wildlife and habitats.

  • Stewardship & Community Engagement: Building a strong network of volunteers who are instrumental in driving conservation initiatives and fostering community involvement.

Your Investment Will Make a Difference

With dedicated funding, we can implement essential projects that foster a deeper connection between communities and wildlife, ensure robust conservation of habitats, and engage future generations in outdoor recreation. We invite you to partner with Wildlife for Tomorrow and contribute to conserving Arizona's magnificent natural resources.
