The Foundation for Homeless Cats educates and advocates for humanely reducing the population of stray and free roaming cats, keeping cats out of municipal shelters, easing neighborhood tensions, fostering compassion and diminishing animal cruelty. We assist low income caregivers with spay/neuter and veterinarian medical care for injured or ill cats. We sanctuary 17 medical, elderly and special needs cats. We manage 14 feral cat colonies, caring for over 100 cats every day.

The Foundation for Homeless Cats is a nonprofit 501(c)3 educational outreach and advocacy organization working to keep unsocialized, free roaming, outdoor, and feral cats out of municipal shelters, where they are most often killed.
We provide property owners with resources to implement a low cost, long term, nonlethal cat management.
We assist homeowner associations, apartment complexes, mobile home parks, businesses, government offices, and individuals with free roaming and stray cat populations to adopt a Cat Management Plan using Trap/Neuter/Return.
We lobby for cats at the local and state levels. We work with city leaders and state legislators to implement anti cruelty legislation for all animals.
We hold regular "how to" presentations of topics of implementing TNR (trap/neuter/return), how cats can be good neighbors, and how to negotiate for cats.
We sponsor the online colony caregivers support group, with over 560 members. http://www.meetup.com/Phoenix-feral-friends
