Arizona Sunshine Angels

OUR VISION: To encourage self-esteem and to ensure that children in foster care truly feel loved, valued, and supported. 

OUR MISSION: To promote the self-esteem of children in foster care who reside in group homes by providing them with essential needs to support education, independent living, self-worth, and hope.

WHO WE ARE: The Arizona Sunshine Angels is a 501(c)3 charitable organization that supports and enriches the lives of foster children in residential group homes throughout Maricopa County. Currently, we support nearly 700 children from ages 0-18 within 11 foster care agencies. The Arizona Sunshine Angels have been volunteering and helping children in foster care since 1999, officially becoming a charitable organization in March 2006.

WHO ARE THESE SPECIAL KIDS?
These children have been removed from their homes by the Department of Child Safety (DCS) and placed in a group home until a more permanent solution is found or until they age out the foster care system. Despite facing challenges no child should endure, they carry dreams, talents, and hopes for the future. Arizona Sunshine Angels is dedicated to reminding them that they are not forgotten, that they are deeply loved, and that their self-worth shines beyond circumstance.
