Project Roots

Project Roots nourishes and educates communities in need by promoting a healthier, natural, and more sustainable way of urban living.

Project Roots is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Phoenix, Arizona, dedicated to empowering our community through sustainable food education and support. Our mission is to educate individuals on growing their own food through a variety of educational programs. We also support the homeless and food-insecure populations by providing fresh, locally-grown produce from our community gardens.

In addition to our educational initiatives, Project Roots AZ offers seasonal produce bag delivery (CSA) services in select areas of Phoenix and maintains a presence at various Farmer's Markets throughout the valley. Through these efforts, we aim to create a healthier, more self-sufficient community.

We are excited to expand our current backyard farm into a commercial farm utilizing innovative tower farming techniques. This expansion will enable us to grow more produce, support more individuals, and further our mission of fostering food security and sustainability within our community.
