Prescott YMCA of Yavapai County

The Prescott YMCA of Yavapai County is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization that has served people of all ages and backgrounds in western Yavapai County for over 50 years. We emphasize youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility through programs and activities that include Preschool, After School Childcare, Summer Day Camp, adult and youth sports leagues, individual and group fitness classes, aquatics instruction, Youth and Government, and much more. 

We evolve our programming regularly to meet the needs of the community, and we receive support through membership dues, program fees, and public and private contributions. 

As a membership organization, the YMCA is open to everyone, and an extensive scholarship program ensures access for children, families, and individuals regardless of their ability to pay.

"The Prescott YMCA has stepped up to save the swimming community here in Prescott and the surrounding towns. Swimming is a way of life for many in our little corner of the world. We use swimming to stay healthy, both physically and mentally. We are happiest when we get our daily swim, visiting with like-minded individuals. The pool is our 'happy place'. I am indebted to the YMCA for stepping up and opening the pool as soon as the CDC said it was safe to do so.
