Pima County / Tucson Women's Commission

A nonprofit organization

The Pima County/Tucson Women's Commission (PCTWC) is a community-driven organization dedicated to advancing equity and equality for women and girls in the Tucson and Pima County area. We advise local government, foster leadership, promote wellness, and connect our community to vital resources and support.

Our work spans four key areas:

  • Advocacy & Activism — We amplify community voices before the Tucson City Council and the Pima County Board of Supervisors to champion policies that empower women.
  • Resource Navigation — With a focus on domestic violence resources, we connect individuals to the support they need, when they need it most.
  • Community Convening — We serve as a central hub linking women-aligned organizations throughout Southern Arizona.
  • Thought Leadership — Through education, mentorship, and skill-building programs, we address the unique challenges women face and help them thrive personally and professionally.

We meet on the first Wednesday of every month and welcome everyone — in person in downtown Tucson or virtually. Your support on AZ Gives Day helps us continue this vital work in our community.
