The Northern Arizona Pioneers' Historical Society (NAPHS) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting, collecting, preserving, and perpetuating the history of northern Arizona. In pursuit of this mission, NAPHS supports organizations and programs that steward our region’s heritage through education and preservation.

Through Arizona Gives Day, our primary goal is to support Riordan Mansion State Historic Park and the Arizona Historical Society’s Pioneer Museum. As resources allow, we may also contribute to special projects that align with our mission of preserving local history, including efforts with Friends of Fort Valley, the Townsite Community Land Trust, and restoration work at the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary,

We are especially excited to share that the Pioneer Museum in Flagstaff is set to reopen by summer 2026. After being closed since the COVID-19 pandemic, this important community resource will once again welcome visitors, offering opportunities to learn from and connect with our shared past. Support through Arizona Gives Day will help advance education and preservation at this historic site—once a hospital serving the indigent—and ensure its stories continue to be told.

Our presence preserves our past—and, with your support, will continue to shape its future.
