Montlure Camp

Montlure is a ministry rooted in the beauty of creation, offering a safe and nurturing space for all to connect through transformation, restoration and faith exploration.

Our goal for #TheGreatCampGive campaign during AZ Gives Day is to raise at least $25,000 to go toward our scholarship/subsidy fund. Each year, we need to raise $55,000 in this fund to fully cover the financial need of campers.

As inflation and camp expenses have increased, we have also seen an increase in need for scholarships and subsidies to send campers to camp. Over 75% of our campers received some sort of financial assistance to attend camp last year. We want to make sure that a financial barrier is never the reason a camper does not have the opportunity to attend. With your help, we can make this happen.

Montlure is a special place for children, youth, and adults to experience a setting that places it apart from the everyday world. It brings campers in touch with the beauty of creation where God's role in their lives is made real and enriches their relationships with others. The primary emphasis of this ministry is to offer a Christian experience through a carefully developed curriculum and competent directors and counselors who staff the camp each week. Summer overnight camping sessions are held for groups from incoming grades 4 -12 grades as well as traveling day camps all across Arizona for 1-6th graders. Countless generations have benefited from the Montlure camping experience each summer.

I attended Montlure several summers while growing up. The weeks always sped by too fast but the knowledge gained, friendships created, and ability to feel closer to our Lord will never be forgotten! I went to Montlure every summer starting in the 6th grade.
