Flagstaff Ski Club

We are committed to the development of healthy and well-conditioned young people. Our goals are to provide a safe environment for our youth to learn fundamental ski and snowboard skills; to help develop disciplined and committed athletes; to make ski- and snowboard-racing available to a broad cross-section of families in our community; and to produce winning athletes in alpine skiing and snowboarding. Our vision is for our youth to thrive and we want to create a prosperous, unified community.

Since 1968, the Flagstaff Ski Club, Inc. has trained thousands of Arizona's junior athletes, from talented amateurs to Junior Olympians. The club supports two teams, both of which train at the Arizona Snowbowl in Flagstaff; the Flagstaff Alpine Ski Team (FAST) which competes in the Southern Division of the United States Ski Association, and the Grand Canyon Freeride Team (GCFT) which competes in the USASA Grand Canyon Series. Today FAST and GCFT have over 150 dedicated junior athletes ages 6-18, and more than 25 professional coaches. Cumulatively these teams impact over 250 Northern and Central Arizona families.
