Everyday Heroes & Hounds is a 501(c3) organization in Chandler, Arizona. It was founded in an effort to honor and support our Local First Responder and Veteran population being devastated by tragic suicide rates. We host Dog Obedience Camps for First Responders, Veterans, and their pet dogs to give them a positive outlet for stress, depression and anxiety. We also raise funds to sponsor heroes in crisis to attend transformational retreats at Save A Warrior, which helps them to heal from PTSD and suicidal ideation.

For the last 14 years I've owned a pet sitting, dog walking and training business based in Chandler, AZ. I train all breeds, creeds, ages and behavioral challenges, with a special interest in the fearful, feral and anything underdog types. Several years ago, I was inspired to help raise awareness to the suicide rates affecting our Veterans and First Responder communities (Law Enforcement, Fired Department, Emergency Medical Services & Dispatch). I began hosting dog training boot camps teaching basic obedience Veteran and First Responders pet dogs, to give them to have a positive outlet for their stress. In 2019, I officially founded Everyday Heroes & Hounds, as a 501c3 nonprofit.

In 2025, our goal is to host four dog training camps to the Veteran and First Responder population, which is a total of 80 companions. In addition, we are hoping to sponsor 3 Heroes in need, to attend a 5 day transformational retreat with our friends at Save A Warrior to help them heal from PTSD, complex trauma and suicidal ideation ($5500 for each scholarship). Each year we continue to grow and are so excited for the opportunity to touch more lives, start conversations about the suicide crisis within these communities and give a few people the opportunity to heal.
