EAST SIDE ELVES

The East Side Elves provide support and enrichment to our homeless animals in the Maricopa County Animal Shelters and other dogs in need throughout Maricopa County. We provide collars for all adopted dogs prior to leaving the shelter as well as leashes, toys, and training treats to benefit our animals through enrichment. We have also assisted animals outside of the shelter environment by providing assistance with food, medication, training and medical needs.

In 2021, we were able to contribute supplies to the shelter, expanded the option to offer more training assistance to new adopters that may need an extra boost in order to keep their new family member, provide the ability to help with medical care, and monetary support for owners that require a little help with paying to license and vaccinate their pets.

We have also expanded out to help other rescues with funding for medical cases they bring in as well as providing funding for boarding assistance with rescues that are intaking dogs from the county shelter.

Spay and neuter clinics continue to be a wish as well. In order to help reduce the stray pet population, we need to be proactive. With your help, we can begin to help drive the change.
