David Glasser Foundation

The David Glasser Foundation exists to provide opportunities for Law Enforcement Officers and the people they serve to connect and learn through community events and resources. Our vision is to lead the way in promoting positive relationships between Law Enforcement Officers and the communities they serve.

David Glasser was a Phoenix Police Officer who was killed in the line of duty on May 19, 2016. He chose to become a Police Officer because he loved people and he wanted to be part of the Thin Blue Line which protects the innocent from those who prey on the innocent. He helped make our community safer and gave the ultimate sacrifice to do so.

The foundation was created to continue the work he started - making a positive difference in our community. Our work has been focused in the Phoenix-area where Officer Glasser was killed. Events, such as Shop with a Cop at Christmastime, our Back to School Backpack Drives, and sports leagues have served numerous students, while connecting them with Law Enforcement Officers to create positive relationships and memories to last a lifetime.
