Cuenca Los Ojos

Our mission is to protect, restore, and rewild the biodiversity of the U.S.-Mexico Borderlands. We bring back water, soil and life.

Cuenca Los Ojos is dedicated to restoring, preserving, and enhancing the flora and fauna found in the unique biome of northern Mexico and the southern United States (aka the Borderlands). A few of the exciting projects we are currently working on are:

*Supporting the local bison population

*Preserving and enhancing the wetlands of Northern Mexico/ Southern Arizona and New Mexico

*Conducting an extensive study on the agave plant and their relationship with the local bat population

*Supporting the reintroduction of lost flora and fauna in the region (e.g. ocelots, migratory birds, jaguars)
