CDT KIDS

A nonprofit organization

At CDT Kids we believe in every child's potential to grow and develop skills which will enhance their future. We provide educational, therapeutic and adaptive recreational services to support children with special needs in the community. We work together towards making sure that underserved children receive the therapeutic, educational and adaptive sport services that they need to achieve their goals. With your help we can make a difference.

CDT Kids Charity has been serving children with developmental disabilities in Arizona for more than twelve years. During this time, the program has grown dramatically. In 2012, Mat and Becky Curtner founded the children's charity and secured a contract with the state of Arizona; Division of Developmental Disabilities. In 2014, CDT started operations with a few clients and two therapists doing home health speech therapy. Today, we serve 350+ clients per week in HCBS, own a 2500 square ft office condo, own a 5 acre horse property in Queen Creek, have over 25 employees, and operate a specialized pediatric therapy clinic in Gilbert providing speech and occupational therapy. Children with developmental disabilities have an internal drive to be successful, therefore our direct service providers will lead them through the stages of development in order to achieve their personal best. We believe in every child's potential to grow and develop skills which will enhance their future. We provide educational, therapeutic and adaptive recreational services to support children with special needs in the community. We work together towards making sure that underserved children receive the therapeutic, educational and adaptive sport services that they need to achieve their goals. As a team, we work collaboratively with ST/OT/PT pediatric therapists who are committed to treating under-served children with disabilities in Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa, Queen Creek, Tempe and surrounding areas. Our diverse population is ages 2-22 years old with autism, intellectual disability, cognitive deficits, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, motor-developmental delays, and other neuro-motor disorders.

Testimonials

"My family and I attended the rodeo put on by CDT and had a blast. The activities they had for the kids were engaging and fun. My daughter enjoyed bouncing in the bounce house and arts and crafts, while my son practiced his roping skills. The Barn is a beautiful place and was the perfect setting for the rodeo. Each little niche and around each corner there was something lovely for the family to enjoy. The staff and therapists all had a gentle report with the kids and as a parent, I felt comfortable letting my kids enjoy the day the way they wanted to. My favorite part of the day was watching my daughter walk in the parade with all the kids smiling and waving. We are definitely looking forward to the next CDT event. "
