The Boys & Girls Club of Sierra Vista strives to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring responsible citizens.

The Boys & Girls Club of Sierra Vista has been serving the youth for more than 20 years. Through a variety of programs, community partnerships, and support from community members, the Club has been positively impacting the local youth to become responsible, caring adults.

Aqib Adnan
Youth of the Year 2019

Before joining the Boys & Girls Club of Sierra Vista, Aqib was "very shy and hesitated to talk to others at school."

During the summer, he volunteered as a junior staff member, helping staff implement programs and serving meals. He is passionate about preventing bullying, one of the top issues students face today.

In the Spring of 2019, Aqib was awarded Youth of the Year honors and competed at the state level for a chance to win a $5,000 scholarship.

He reached his goal of attending the University of Arizona to study Actuarial Science because he loves mathematics.
