Arizona Region of USA Volleyball

The mission of the Arizona Region (formerly known as Cactus Region which originated in 1989) is to promote, govern, oversee, plan and coordinate amateur indoor and outdoor volleyball in the Arizona Region, in order to provide a variety of opportunities for all interested parties to participate in a safe, positive and appropriately competitive environment.

The Arizona Region of USA Volleyball supports the programming of clubs in the inner-city and on the Reservations by providing an annual grant to help cover the cost of their fees. We have a Development Grant Fund to help establish volleyball in areas that are not already served. These grants normally are given to expansion of boys programming, sitting volleyball for paralympic participation and youth programming. The Arizona Region annually donates to the USA Volleyball Sitting teams, Deaf Teams and to support the International Volleyball Hall of Fame in Holyoke, MA.
