This Arizona Gives Day, Peer & Family Career Academy is launching Fields of Possibility, an initiative to expand access to scholarships, strengthen workforce development, and bring high-quality training opportunities to communities across our state.

Our Mission

We inspire Recovery and Wellness through Professional Development and Continuing Education; equipping emerging leaders and strengthening Arizona’s integrated care workforce from a lived experience perspective.

We train, support, and uplift from a lived experience in the integrated health field across the state.

Who We Are

Born from the collaborative efforts of lived experience professionals and behavioral health advocates, the Arizona Peer and Family Career Academy is a grassroots movement turned professional movement. Our team has firsthand experience navigating integrated health systems and we’re using that insight to transform them from the inside out.

In the past year alone, we’ve trained over 2,500 professionals across 173 organizations and employers, spanning 21 Arizona cities. Our graduates are now working in hospitals, community health centers, recovery programs, and state agencies, bringing empathy, resilience, and leadership into every space they enter.
