APARN: Arizona Pug Adoption & Rescue Network

A nonprofit organization

APARN is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, all-volunteer organization, with a mission to rescue pugs in need (whether abandoned, homeless, unwanted, or otherwise unable to remain in their current homes), provide medical care and emotional support, and place them into loving, permanent adoptive homes in Arizona. We strive to educate the public about the Pug dog breed, including its personality, healthy weight, special needs and care, and the importance of spay/neuter. No Pug Left Behind.

We rescue and place between 125-250 pugs a year in Arizona, and occasionally neighboring states. Every pug is spayed/neutered, brought up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested and started on preventative, provided with dental cleaning and any other surgeries/procedures necessary to get them ready for a new life in a Forever Home! Since our beginning in 2001, APARN has rescued over 3,500 pugs. We need your continued support so that we can continue our mission to leave no pug behind.
