Y.E.S. for Dine' Bikeyah (aka NavajoYES) is a Navajo Nation-based nonprofit that strives to promote community wellness, lifelong fitness and youth empowerment in communities around the Nation. We have several programs to help us achieve these goals. Our Dine' Bike Project receives, restores and shares hundreds of donated bikes to families, schools and communities around the rez. We host year-round family hikes and treks in communities and parks throughout the year. Since 2015, we have hosted a series of runs and rides across the reservation through our Navajo Parks Races Series and Tour de Rez Series. These events include Shiprock Marathon, Four Corners Quad Keyah, Code Talker 10K, Monument Valley races, Chuska Challenge and more. We work on advocating and developing trails around the rez, and spearhead the Navajo Trails Task Force. We are currently leading a major effort to develop a rail-trail route in the western portion of the reservation. We share the message of wellness through a litany of community outreach programs, including school and chapter presentations, trail guides and our Code Talker Art Project.
