Since 1964 we have been changing lives one donation at a time.
In 2021, we reinvested $317,000 in post-fire-flood relief - 100% for local residents.
In 2022, our 24 non-profit agencies are leveraging $400,000 in grant monies through CATCHAFIRE memberships, StoryTelling Institute workshops, and access to USDA REDI Grant facilitators. Together they created 88,164 impacts for community residents. That's 10 people per hour year round (24/7/365) even when you're sleeping!
100% of your donation stays in the Globe-Miami Community. Our unaudited administrative percentage for 2019 was 5.17% - that means 94.83 cents of every dollar donated goes directly to local 501(c)3 charities.

Year of YES!
At the 2019 Annual Meeting, guest speaker Jon Ford from Vitalyst Health Group encouraged all United Fund guests to plan for a big project in the future. True to form, the United Fund board exceeded the challenge set before them. At their 55th Anniversary Gala on August 24th, United Fund featured YEAR OF YES! projects.
These 3 visionary projects connect existing resources and needs, to serve our community's most important asset: PEOPLE! The many partners that came together were able to address major community needs: food security, safe environments, and youth programming.

Helping Families Help Themselves - Description by Gail Lenox and Charlene Becker
Presented by: Arizona Youth Partnership, G.I.L.A. House, G.I.L.A. House Alderman Domestic Violence Safe Home , and Starting Out Right
Gila House/Alderman Safe House and SOR Starting out Right/Active Parenting would like to provide services for families that are staying at the Gila House or Aldermen Safe House. Services would include Active Parenting classes or Child birthing classes depending on the need. We would also like to provide resources for families such as job searches, schooling, counseling, and support. We would like to provide car seats, pack and plays for safe sleep, diapers and wipes and clothes if needed for the families. Charlene Becker is a certified CAPPA Child Birth Educator, Certified Lactation Educator, and Car Seat Technician that would be providing the Child Birthing classes and is a certified trainer for Active Parenting and Triple P accredited and along with Liz Mata would be able to provide the parenting classes. Part of the grant would also help to benefit the clients who are in the SOR program and Active Parenting program. SOR clients are sometimes homeless and experience domestic violence and are in need of the Gila House or Alderman shelter. There are times when baby formula is needed or diapers and we are unable to provide this to SOR clients. This partnership will provide much-needed support within our community. Housing families are important but families need more than just housing they need to be pointed in the right direction and guided. This project will help to guide these families and give them the support they need to go out on their own...
