Tucson Pastel Society

The Tucson Pastel Society unites artists working in the dry pastel medium, promotes enjoyable art activities, nurtures artistic growth, and creates awareness of the versatility and value of pastel fine art among our members, the public, gallery owners and art collectors.

The Tucson Pastel Society is a growing art group that provides services to our members and the community. We offer an open studio and plein air paintouts to the public each month. We sponsor nationally known instructors for workshops twice each year. We also offer free one-day classes to our members. We have a general meeting each month from Sept to May and provide demos and hands on programs for members. The public is invited to attend at least one meeting before joining our society. Our building is available for rental and a very reasonable rental fee in order to give back to the art community of Southern Arizona.
