Since we were founded in 2012 we have physically rescued and rehomed over 900 Rottweilers. We have been able to help 100's of rottie owners keep their Rottweilers by counseling them on behavior issues, and teaching them how to bring the cost of their rotties living expenses down to a more manageable figure. We have also talked 100's of people into choosing a different breed, if we could tell that they were a bad fit for a rottweiler. We are a non-profit organization that concentrates on rescuing rottweilers that have been abandoned, neglected, abused, and/or find themselves facing immediate danger, such as being homeless or on the euthanasia list at a county shelter or humane society.

The owner of RRR is wonderful and cares so much about the dogs. The adoption process was exactly what it should be, especially for this breed of dog, as so many people want them for the wrong reasons. They communicated with us very well and had great follow-up after we brought our Rottie home. She told us he would be great with kids but not as great with other big dogs, and that's exactly how he is. ( She knows hers stuff. ) Ben is amazing with our grandson and any other kids that come around. He is great with our beagle, but not a fan of other big dogs. We love him so much, thank you RRR! ????Rotten Rottie Rescue

This rescue does amazing work for the breed. We love them! RRR saves dogs from poor living conditions or euthanasia by taking in and rehabilitating the lost, sick, injured or mistreated rotties. We support this rescue financially and through volunteerism. They advocate tirelessly for the breed. RRR thoroughly screens applicants before allowing adoption to ensure the living conditions are optimal for their rescues. We were thoroughly screened, including a home visit, by RRR before we could adopt our dog 3 years ago. This process was absolutely necessary to ensure that we knew the characteristics, healthcare and exercise needs, training requirements, and were financially secure enough to adopt and take proper care of this large breed. Rotties are not for everyone. RRR makes sure you are a good fit with your dog. Thank you to RRR for educating us on the needs of our dog and for setting us up for a lifetime of love and companionship with our "little" Buddy. And for being there for the countless number of rotties who are lucky enough to grace the threshold of your rescue doors. It's hard, often heartbreaking work. Highly recommend you check this rescue out before buying a puppy, please! And don't be upset if you are not a proper fit. They know what they're doing. Move on to another breed that is better suited to your needs.

Hey Shelly,
Just wanted to touch base with you and let you know Fifty is doing great! He's such a clown and a sassy lil ???? too. He cracks us up daily. Here's one of the latest pictures of him. He's now over 80 lbs and is sharp as a tack. He picked up "Down" on command, in a matter of 3 blocks, on our morning walk, right after his arrival. He's so eager to please, yet so loving.
He sleeps between Becca and I at the top of the bed. ???? He's so bendable he curls up in the tiniest ball ever and goes to sleep. Most every night, he ends up putting his head on my shoulder and kisses me in the middle of the night. Then he goes back to sleep with his head on my shoulder! We are SO happy to have him. He's been a true blessing in our lives. Shelly if you ever wanna use us as a success story or as a reference to a prospective adopter, we'd be MORE than happy to do that.
