Prescott Area Tennis Association

A nonprofit organization

The Prescott Area Tennis Association (PATA) promotes and supports tennis for everyone in the Prescott area by reaching across barriers of age, income and play level to ensure that all area residents can access tennis courts, programs and playing opportunities.

PATA values inclusion and diversity of all players and supporters of tennis. We value engaging and developing young players through school and summer programs and by providing scholarships. We foster high standards, fair play and good sportsmanship and encourage and conduct tennis tournaments and events. PATA upholds the Rules of Tennis determined by the International Tennis Federation and upholds the regulations and policies of the United States Tennis Association, the United States Tennis Association Southwest Section and the United States Tennis Association Northern Arizona Section. PATA supports a number of weekly drop-in play sessions, clinics and drills for all levels, cardio tennis classes and organizes a number of Junior and Adult, open and sanctioned, tournaments each year. PATA's mid-summer tournament, the Prescott Mile High Open, has been a fixture in Prescott for nearly 30 years. The events scheduled for 2020 include the PATA Memorial Day NTRP Tennis Tournament in May, the Badger Junior Tournament in June, the Yavapai County Junior Tournament and the Prescott Mile High Open, both in August.
