Miracle Center is now part of Career Plus, a holistic career & life development program for unemployed or underemployed adults. The lives of women and men are transformed through individualized case management, vital life skills training, and long-term follow up support to ensure success long after graduation. Help us serve more students in our Career Training Center this Arizona Gives Day with your donation!
Your donations to Miracle Center (QCO 20124) still qualify for the 2025 Arizona Charitable Tax Credit if you have not yet filed your taxes. Up to $987 (couples) or $495 (singles) may be taken. Or take advantage of the 2026 Charitable Tax Credit, up to $1009 (couples) or $505 (singles).
Career Plus, run by Miracle Center, is the birthplace of dreams and a beacon of hope for individuals and families seeking a fresh start. When people like Charli or Chris (see their stories below) come through the doors at Miracle Center's Career Plus Training Center, we want this environment to show them their value, and honor them in a way that is conducive to growth and development. We are building an environment that builds people. Graduates on go to careers in one of 3 hard skills trainings - Culinary, Warehouse, or Retail. If these tracks aren't what they desire, they may be referred to other outside workforce programs, or directed to other resources to help them get back on their feet. For Arizona Gives Day, will you help us continue to provide vital programs to those coming out of difficult places so they can step into the opportunity that will allow them to provide successfully for their family and their future?
Charli was a graduate from our Career Plus class in June of 2025. She recently wrote: "GAP gave me hope after severe trauma. For years I felt like I was incapable of joining any work force and maintaining a job. I am so happy that shortly after graduation I got and have maintained employment at Charro Steak along with 2 of my classmates. I said it in class, GAP is not just school or a tech program, it’s family. This family CHANGES lives...I love to be part of a group that greatly impacts people just like GAP did for me. I hope my story can help lead others into hope and be inspired to keep trying, for all things are possible through Christ who strengthens me, Philippians 4:13." - Charli, 2025 Culinary Student
Chris was in the same Career Plus class and also found work at Charro Steak. He first came to GAP as a dedicated Community Warehouse volunteer, biking and busing 90 minutes each way just to serve others. After sharing his past experiences with homelessness and incarceration, and his positive memories of working in a prison kitchen, he chose the culinary track in our Career Plus program to pursue a new future. Chris graduated with excellence in June and has since taken major steps forward, including earning his driver’s license again after 25 years and purchasing his first truck. Now thriving in his job at Charro Steakhouse, Chris is living proof that hope, opportunity, and hard work can change everything...a new beginning started by simply showing up to volunteer!
