Large Animal Shelters & Emergency Readiness LASER

LASER is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization of community volunteers working in partnership with Yavapai County Emergency Management in Prescott, Arizona. LASER primarily serves private owners of barn animals. We can assist businesses and non-profits with emergency plans and/or explore partnership agreements. 

Our mission is to provide a safe shelter for barn animals during evacuations in Yavapai County and to provide information for emergency preparedness. 

Our dedicated volunteers work tirelessly to provide the best possible care for your animals. They are passionate, knowledgeable, and committed to our mission.

• Shelters are open and staffed by trained volunteers 24/7 during emergency evacuations
