LaloBoy Foundation

LaloBoy Foundation (LBF) is a community-driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2019 in Chandler, Arizona, following the loss of 17-year-old Adrio Romine to suicide. Dedicated to supporting families across Arizona, LBF focuses on increasing access to mental health care, reducing stigma, and providing critical support. Best known for its financial assistance program, LBF helps expand access to adolescent mental health services. In response to Adrio’s tragic experience with an online predator, LBF prioritizes internet safety education, equipping families with tools for meaningful conversations about digital well-being. To ensure accessibility, all programs and workshops are available in English and Spanish.

Key Programs:

-Financial Assistance for Mental Health Services (FAMS): Helps families afford mental health services for their children by covering up to $100 per session ($300 per application).

-NEED LUV Letters: A volunteer-led kindness initiative delivering uplifting letters to individuals facing hardships.

-Educational Workshops: Empowering workshops on Internet Safety, Video Game Safety, and Pursuing Passion with Purpose.

-The Crying Need: A free, virtual peer support group for caregivers and community supports focusing on self-care and burnout preventions.

-Lalo’s Spirit of Giving Event: An annual holiday event promoting family connection through an interactive gifting experience and resource fair.
