The Legends of Superior Trail is a trail project that is connecting Superior to the Arizona Trail on the west and Queen Creek Canyon on the East. The trail consists of three segments, the Arnett Canyon trail, urban trail through Superior & Canyon Segment through the beautiful Queen Creek Canyon. The segment from Superior up Queen Canyon is completed with signage. The trail connecting the Arizona Trail to Superior, a Gateway community, was lost to the widening of Highway 60. Now the trail is under improvement from Superior through Arnett Canyon to the Arizona Trail. Planning is underway for the section from the Superior airport through town. LOST - Legends of Superior Trails seeks to provide recreational activities in area surrounding the Town of Superior for resident quality of life and to share the trails and beauty with visitors.
