Valley of the Moon is a 100-year-old, enchanted storybook land in the heart of Tucson, built on the belief that kindness, imagination, and community can change the world. Created in the 1920s by visionary artist George Phar Legler, Valley of the Moon has welcomed generations of visitors to experience its whimsical pathways, theatrical adventures, and historic gardens—all cared for by a dedicated community of volunteers.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Valley of the Moon exists to promote tolerance, creativity, and connection, offering a space where wonder and welcome go hand in hand.
