Fight for a Living Wage

The American Dream is broken.

A living wage covers the basics: Food, Shelter, Healthcare, Childcare, Education, and the ability to Save. The living wage standard allows for no more than 30% to be spent on rent or mortgage and is sufficiently higher than the poverty level. The richest country in the world is leaving its people behind. 

We're working to create a grassroots movement to increase awareness, understanding, and a call to action on how current trends in wages, corporate profits, and politics are increasing the wage gap in America. We're looking for $500 to improve our social media efforts. Would we like more? Of course we would, but we'd like to prove ourselves to potential donors by increasing our audience and show that our cause is important to people beyond our group of volunteers.
