The Equality Health Foundation envisions a world of vibrant and inclusive communities where all individuals have the opportunity to live healthy, longer lives. We understand a bold vision like this cannot be accomplished alone and requires extensive cross-sector collaboration and coordination across local communities to make a sustainable and transformative change—a movement for advancing health equity and well-being for all.

Since our establishment in 2019, the Equality Health Foundation has been dedicated to leveling the playing field in underserved communities and ensuring everyone has access to health and well- being. 

People of color and other underserved groups face significantly higher rates of illness and death across a wide range of health conditions. Without community-based solutions, health care costs for the average American could triple by 2040, with annual spending potentially exceeding $1 trillion. More importantly, countless individuals will struggle to live healthier, longer lives.

The Equality Health Foundation serves as a convener, collaborator, facilitator, and innovator, working alongside both public and private organizations as well as local residents.

Our goals are: 

• To identify community needs and collaboratively create solutions;
• To address disparities and eliminate barriers to health and well-being; and 
• To tackle the social determinants of health through a diverse alliance of community stakeholders.
