About Queen Creek Botanical Gardens & Cultivate Goodness

Queen Creek Botanical Gardens is a unique destination where beauty, education, and community come together through the power of elegant, edible plants. The gardens show how landscapes can be both beautiful and productive, modeling sustainable, hyper-local food production while helping people reconnect with the land that nourishes them. We welcome visitors of all ages to explore, learn, and experience the joy of the gardens.

Hands-On Learning & Education
Guided by the mission to Cultivate Goodness, Exhibit Excellence, and Lift Humanity, the gardens offer educational tours for schools, community groups, and organizations, as well as private guided tours, gardening classes, and landscaping instruction. Visitors learn how to grow edible plants in arid climates, discover sustainable gardening practices, and connect with the land in meaningful ways.

Community & Recreation
The gardens also serve as a gathering place for the community, offering meeting and event space for groups. Guests can enjoy catch-and-release fishing, canoeing on Pecan Lake, and seasonal experiences like the Pecan Lake Farmers Market, which connects families and visitors with local growers and fresh regional foods. The gardens celebrate and support the region’s rich agricultural heritage, strengthening connections between farmers, gardeners, and communities throughout the area.

Taste the Beauty Garden Experience
Through a partnership with Cultivate Goodness, whose mission is to inspire healthier communities through hands-on learning, gardening, and food education, the gardens are expanding this work through the Taste the Beauty Garden Experience. This interactive initiative allows children, families, and visitors to discover how food grows, taste fresh herbs and fruits, and learn the importance of healthy, sustainable local and regional food systems.

Adventures in the Garden

Adventures at the Garden
Your support helps provide outdoor equipment—including fishing gear, canoes, nets, and more—so visitors of all ages can safely enjoy hands-on recreational experiences. These tools create opportunities for children, families, and community groups to connect with nature, develop skills, make lasting memories and inspire them to pursue a lifetime of healthy outlets.

Together, Queen Creek Botanical Gardens and Cultivate Goodness are creating a living classroom where beauty, education, and nourishment come together to inspire curiosity, strengthen community, and cultivate a healthier future for generations to come. 🌱
